The Buffalo Police Department is looking for qualified city residents to take the police exam and Friday, May 13 is the deadline to register.
The police exam will be on June 18. Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown says "Public safety remains a top priority and we're calling on qualified candidates to answer our call to serve and protect the residents, businesses and visitors of the City of Buffalo."
The last exam was administered by the City in 2011.
To qualify you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be between the ages of 19 and 35 on exam date.
- Must reside within the City of Buffalo at least 90 days prior to the date of his or her application for examination.
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalency Diploma.
