A multiple car accident Friday evening resulted in the death of an unidentified female driver.
The crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. at the corner of Grider Street and East Delavan Avenue.
Police say a 21-year-old Buffalo man was headed north on Grider Street when his 2014 Ford Edge struck a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, sending the Equinox into a utility pole. The driver of the Equinox was transported to ECMC, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Edge was treated and released from ECMC.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
