The SPCA is once again offering free Parvo Vaccine clinics throughout the summer to dogs and puppies 8 weeks and older.
Parvo is a contagious virus that affects dogs of any age, breed, or gender. There is no cure for Parvo and it's life-threatening without veterinary care.
Prevention through vaccination is the only way to ensure a puppy or dog remains immune to the virus.
Clinics are scheduled for May 28 at the George K. Arthur Community Center parking lot, 2056 Genesee Street in Buffalo; June 11 and July 9 at the Broadway Market, 999 Broadway in Buffalo; and August 13, September 10, and October 1 at the West Side Community Center, 161 Vermont Street in Buffalo.
All clinics will be held Saturdays, 1-3pm.
No appointment is necessary but all dogs must be on leashes.
