Families in downtown Buffalo are gearing up for back to school.

Buffalo Bills Linebacker Lorenzo Alexander wants to help. He's been pushing his free "community event" at the Belle Center coming up this Saturday from 10am-2pm.

Families are invited to attend, but the focus will be on the kids.

100 kids will be able to register to take free science and technology (STEM) workshops, and even get some haircuts.

Bills players will be in attendance, and there will be an opportunity to win free game tickets and other prizes there.

Registration is encouraged for kids to reserve their spaces in the STEM workshops.
