If you’re traveling on the New York State Thruway on New Year’s Eve, you’ll once again be able to get free coffee and tea at all rest areas.
Starting 11 p.m. Wednesday through 7 a.m. on New Year’s Day, travelers will be able to get the free beverages at all 27 service areas.
The tradition has been going on for 44 years along the entire 570-mile highway.
