Now may be the time to grow your family by four furry legs.
The SPCA Serving Erie County is waiving adoption fees for all dogs and cats one year of age and older this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its new location in West Seneca.
The free adoption program is part of the "Empty the Shelters" event sponsored by the Bissell Pet Foundation.
The goal is to get the shelter animals into loving homes, in order to make room for displaced animals coming to Western New York from hurricane impacted areas.
