According to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, 53-year-old Joann Thompson was arrested for official misconduct and sex abuse on January 17th.
Thompson was charged following an investigation from September 2017 into an unlawful personal relationship with an inmate while employed as a civilian employee at the Attica Correctional Facility.
Thompson was given a ticket to appear in the Town of Attica Court.
