Saturday morning at St. Joseph Cathedral, three men were ordained to priesthood.

One of those men, Deacon Michael P. LaMarca, once served as the Buffalo Bisons' mascot, Buster. LaMarca has a degree in sports management and was raised locally in West Seneca.

The other two men ordained were Buffalo native Michael K. Brown and Williamsville native Samuel T. Giangreco.

Prior to entering the seminary, Brown worked for the government and also taught math and religious education. Giangreco has a bachelor's degree in sociology and entered the seminary after college.
