NFTA reported to Eyewitness News a Delta flight, coming from Detroit and headed towards Stewart International, in Orange County New York, had to be diverted to the Buffalo airport at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

Authorities say smoke was detected in the cockpit, causing the flight to be rerouted to Buffalo. 45 members, 3 being crew members, were unharmed as the plane landed here safely.
