The Nor'easter hitting the East coast is impacting flights across the state, especially in New York City.

The winter storm is causing a headache for travelers, including those flying into and out of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

Governor Andrew Cuomo's office released these numbers showing the number of cancellations:

- 550 flights out LaGuardia have been canceled,

- 290 flights out of JFK have been canceled and

- 322 flights and out of Newark have been canceled.

All airports are subject to closings due to extreme weather.

This storm could effect travel plans all weekend long, so travelers to contact their airline to determine flight status before arriving at the airport.
