Firefighters were called to a house fire on Keystone Street in Buffalo, just after 9:30 Tuesday morning.

Ladders were extended up to the second floor of the home. Firefighters were seen inside trying to put the fire out.

Smoke was seen pouring from the home after the fire was extinguished.

Firefighters tell 7 Eyewitness News, they're unsure if anyone was living inside. They say there is mail in the mailbox and a working electric meter, but no gas meter.

Firefighters say there was no smoke alarm in the home, but they're treating this as if the home was occupied.

It's unclear how the fire started or where.

There is no word on any injuries.
