A dog is back with her family thanks to quick action by Ellicott Creek volunteer firefighters.
Last week, firefighters responded to Ellicott Creek Island Park, where a dog had broken through the ice and was in the water.
Firefighters were able to get to the dog quickly and bring her to shore, where she was reunited with her owner.

The owner commented on Facebook that Lucy was back at home after stayin governight at the vets and is and doing well. Other than swallowing some air and being extremely cold, she had no injuries."
