Buffalo firefighters are trying to figure out what caused an overnight fire on the east side.
Crews were called to a home on Connelly Avenue, about 3:15 a.m. Tuesday.
When crews arrived, fire was rolling out the back of the house. It spread from the first floor to the second. The fire was so hot, it started melting the siding off the house next door.
Firefighters were able to make quick work of this fire.
It does not appear anyone was hurt.
A damage estimate was not provided.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
