Buffalo fighters battled a large structure fire overnight Tuesday.
The back of a vacant home on Northampton Street was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived around 2 a.m.
Crews fought the fire from the outside using ladder pipes and ground hand lines.

The fire was deemed to be arson. No one was reported hurt. Damage was reported to be $40,000. The building will be demolished in the coming days.
