Buffalo firefighters were called to a house fire on 82 Shepard Street, near Pullman Street, just after 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Firefighters say flames were coming from the roof of the building. Crews fought the fire from the outside, because it was too dangerous to go inside. The roof ultimately collapsed while crews were battling the fire.

Crews are calling for an emergency demolition of the house.

No one was inside. It's unclear if anyone was hurt.

Firefighters use this house for training purposes.

It's unclear how the fire started.
