First responders rushed to the scene of a raging fire at a home on 44 Harriet Avenue near East Delavan Avenue in Buffalo around 5 p.m. Saturday.

Dispatchers say the home was occupied but according to Buffalo fire officials on scene no one was in the home when they arrived.

Investigators say the fire was caused by an electrical issue and started in the basement of the home and spread up the wall to the top floor.

The blaze caused $60,000 worth of damage to the building and $30,000 to the contents.
