Animal lovers looking for a new pet to liven up their homes can head down to Canalside today to adopt dogs, cats, bunnies and horses.
The NYS Citizens Against Puppy Mills is showcasing the adoption on Pierce Lawn until 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
Adopters can also enjoy live music by "Wide Right," "The Larkin Plan," "Duke James Band," and Randy Howe soloist. Kids can visit the face painters and balloon man. And no Canalside event is complete without local food trucks!
If you need a little smooch from a pooch, Buddy the white pitbull will be at the kissing booth!
The NYS Citizens Against Puppy Mills is a non-profit grass roots group with a mission to close puppy mills, All proceeds from the event benefit the group.
