Fifth Annual SkyRide rolls through Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - The Fifth Annual SkyRide, GObike Buffalo's largest annual event and fundraiser, rolled through Buffalo Sunday morning.

This year's SkyRide was the biggest one yet, with over 1,500 participants.

It also went where no SkyRide has before: the Buffalo highways.

Instead of the usual trek on the Skyway, this year it also made its way down the Kensington and Scajaquada Expressways.

The expanded route gave riders the opportunity to follow the path of the Olmsted Parks and parkways.

The ride was capped off by a a bike-themed festival which took place in LaSalle Park.
