An Orleans County man is accused of forcing a man to withdraw nearly $9,000 from his bank account over a two-week period and hand it over.
Andre D. Coley, 24, of West Bank Street in Albion allegedly threatened and intimidated the adult male victim to force him to withdraw money from an ATM on several occasion. The victim called 911 on Thursday after Coley allegedly came to his home and demanded more money.
Coley was arrested in a vehicle in the village and charged with second degree kidnapping, third degree robbery, third degree grand larceny, fourth degree grand larceny, second degree unlawful imprisonment and unlawful possession of marijuana.
He is being held in the Orleans County Jail on $100,000 bail and is due back in court next week.
