A 30-year-old Guatemalan born man faces deportation following a late summer traffic stop.

In August, Carlos Cardona was stopped by police in Attica for speeding. Cardona is an undocumented worker who has been living and working on a dairy farm in the United States for the past ten years.

Carlos does not have a United States drivers license. He has been advocating for the Green Light NY legislation, which would provide licenses to immigrants.

Carlos says he would be heartbroken to be separated from his daughter.

He faced an immigration judge Tuesday. He is due back in immigration court in the spring.
