Earlier today, The Washington Market posted on social media that they will close their doors on Friday, October 6th after lunch.
The shop did not go into detail as to why they are closing down, but will open a new location "in the near future."
The market is hosting an everything-must-go sale:
- Today and tomorrow, cans and bottles of beer will be 10% off.
- Wednesday and Thursday, grocery/convenience items will be 20% off.
- Friday items will be 30% off.
The Washington Market has been in downtown for a decade.
