Fans greet Buffalo Bills at airport after playoff loss

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. - Win or lose, Buffalo Bills fans support their team. Especially after the unifying end of a 17 season playoff drought.

With as much love and support as they sent the team off to Jacksonville with, fans bundled up and braved the cold to welcome the Buffalo Bills home Sunday night after a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

"I thought we should have won this one, but we love this team, we love Sean McDermott," says a fan, wearing Bills stickers on her cheeks as she waits for the team and staff to land at the Buffalo Niagara International airport.

The fans of course disappointed the team didn't inch closer to a Super Bowl, but full of hope for the next season and what it has to offer. Dozens held signs and thanked players for their hard work. They waited until the players, coaches and staff got into their cars and drove off before leaving themselves.

There's uncertainty of whether or not some players will return, but the fans are certain: there's a lot of hope for next season.
