One Buffalo beer. It is brewed at the Southern Tier Brewing Company in Lakewood and named after the Pegula One Buffalo brand.
Now it is sold across Western New York.
“The partnership with the Pegula Sports and Entertainment has been phenomenal,” Southern Tier Brewing Company CEO John Coleman said. “We rolled out the beer a couple weeks ago it was only available in draft. Now it's available in six pack bottles."
Coleman said it has helped Southern Tier Brewing Company move to the next level. “Looking at our orders through October, One Buffalo beer has become a top five seller for us."
Coleman said it is a hit with beer drinkers and non-beer drinkers alike. “It really appeals to a broader audience. Maybe someone who is not drinking craft beer now may drink this."
One local company that is now selling the beer is 716 downtown. General Manager Jason Barrett said it is a success.
“I think it's great to see people celebrating their favorite sports teams while drinking One Buffalo. Since we launched it, it's been one of our top sellers,” Barrett said.
Many agree the name says it all.
“We wanted to come up name that transcended sports in Buffalo. There is a great resurgence in the area,” Coleman said.
