Bills fans say there's no atmosphere like Buffalo for football, and that was true Thursday as thousands packed New Era Field to watch the Bills take on the Jets.
Pregame, fans showed their true colors at New Era's Color Rush booth ahead of the game. Bills fans were sprayed from head to toe in red. Those who sprayed their entire body, like Adrian Kelly got a free New Era Cap.
"I'm going to let them do whatever they want," said Adrian Kelly who had his entire body painted. "I'm a blank canvas."
Kelly quite possibly traveled the farthest to see the Bills play. He comes from Los Angeles, California to every Bills game. He let the pros at the spray fanning booth take over his gameday look.
Not only was it the first game at New Era Field, but the BIlls have rolled out new security measures for fans, with walkthrough metal detectors and increased security presence both outside and inside the gates.
Win, or lose, Bills fans say the Bills blood runs deep in their veins.
"You can't change Buffalo. We've been through it all. We're fans through it all," said a group of fans.
