Just days after a fire destroyed everything Andrew Fusco owned, the Lockport man and his two little girls are looking to rebuild.
On August 13th, Lockport Fire Department responded to a fire at a duplex at 102 Elmwood Avenue. It took two hours for firefighters to knock down the blaze and the two-family house sustained nearly $16,000 in damages.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire.
Fusco, who lived in the upstairs unit of the two-family home, says his lower level neighbor is currently living with family. The Lockport man, a father of two young girls, has nowhere to go and is currently staying in a shelter.
“I only have a few days left here,” Fusco told 7 Eyewitness News.
The family has launched a Go Fund Me Page: to learn more, click here.
