Family raising money for boy's accessible van

The family of a boy with Duchenne muscular dystrophy is turning to friends, strangers, and Facebook to help make his life a little easier.

Justin Gibbons is confined to a wheelchair.  His mother needs a wheelchair accessible van to care for him.

“I am asking if everyone could please send one dollar, or more if you can,” Justin’s cousin Tammy Hatzell Donnelly wrote in a Facebook post.

Gibbons lives with his mother and brother in Portville, NY.

The family’s hope is that the post will go viral to help Justin and his mother, and to raise awareness about Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
