It's been more than three weeks since 35 year-old New York State Trooper Joseph Gallagher was hit by a car while helping a disabled driver, and the Western New York native remains in the hospital.
Trooper Gallagher's family and friends are asking for prayers to help him heal. Gallagher's aunt made a Facebook post, asking everyone to to pray at 2:30 p.m. "I believe that there is such power in prayer and even more power in a huge surge of prayer all at the same time!" says Trish Casillo.
State Police ask anyone who saw the crash to call State Police Farmingdale at (631) 756-3300 as the investigation continues.
