Friends and family of Jose Hernandez-Rossy gathered in Buffalo's Black Rock neighborhood on Monday evening, one year after he was shot and killed after a traffic stop and altercation with officers.

The group, 'Just Resisting,' is calling for Buffalo Police Commissioner Byron Lockwood to fire the officers involved in the shooting.

In February, the Attorney General's Office cleared officers Joseph Acquino and Justin Tedesco of any wrongdoing.

The officers say they fired at Hernandez-Rossy after they believed he shot officer Acquino. No gun was ever found at the scene.

Hernandez-Rossy's mother has also filed a wrongful death lawsuit.
