Firefighters in Niagara Falls were called to a house fire at the intersection of 13th and Ashland, early Tuesday morning.
Scorched siding was seen outside the first floor windows. Firefighters had a ladder extended to the second floor, where windows were blown out.
Our crew at the scene reports firefighters had a hard time with water. There were a couple of frozen hydrants making finding a water source difficult.
Fire spread throughout the house and the roof. The home was vacant. No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
