Four Lockport City Schools to go fully remote Friday due to positive COVID-19 case

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WKBW) — Four Lockport City Schools are closed on Friday due to a positive COVID-19 case impacting the schools.

According to the district's website, the following schools are closed Friday to in-person learning

  • Lockport High School
  • Lockport High School West
  • Anna Merritt Elementary School
  • Charles Upson Elementary School

The district says these schools should reopen to in-person learning on Monday, November 9th.

Meals for students in all four buildings may be picked up Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. at North Park Junior High School.
