You can expect some delays on your trip across Grand Island this weekend due to lane closures on the North bridge.
The Thruway Authority moved up the scheduled closure of the southbound North bridge to 10:00 p.m. Friday so construction crews can work safely.
All southbound traffic will be shifted to one lane on the northbound side of the North bridge.
The closure will last through Monday at 5:00 a.m.
