Buffalo city swimming pools have had a record summer.
Mayor Byron Brown says more than 68,000 visitors hit the city pools this season - that's a 30 percent increase over last year.
The hot summer can take most of the credit but the city has also spent more than $40 million on its parks and pools over the past 10 years.
Buffalo now has eight outdoor swimming pools, two wading pools and 11 splash pads. They were all open this year from July 1st through Labor Day.
