Erie County Veteran Services has planned a commemorative event to honor the lives lost in the attack on Pearl Harbor.
It's the 75th year anniversary of the "date which will live in infamy." The attack claimed the lives of more than 2,000 service members and wounded more than 1,000 others.
Erie County Veteran services has planned an event at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military park at 10 a.m.
There will be posting of colors, a performance of the national anthem by the Buffalo Dolls, remarks from a local veteran, readings from a young service member and a proclamation from the county executive.
