Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard announced the summer schedule for car seat checks today. The Erie County Sheriff’s Office partnered with the Erie County Parks Department to host the free car seat checks at county parks.
Starting Wednesday, June 7, Sheriff’s Deputies will be providing free car seat inspections as well as demonstrations on correct installation. Those inspections and demonstrations run every other Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
Here’s the schedule:
- June 7, Como Lake Park, (using the Bowen Road Entrance, first pavilion on the right)
- June 21, Emery Park
- July 12, Bennett Beach
- July 26, Akron Falls
- August, Erie County Fair (more details to come)
