Erie County is leading the fight against lead poisoning in the City of Buffalo.
The county is looking to dedicate three point seven five million dollars in the next five years to making homes safer in the county.
The lead proposal will expand and augment lead inspections and remediation in Erie County.
This is the first of ten major initiatives the County Executive will be presenting in his Thursday March 10 State of the County Address.
