Equal chance lottery given to people applying for low housing income

The Rental Assistance Corporation of Buffalo (RACB) is now accepting applications for the section 8 housing choice vouchers online. 

It doesn't matter when you apply. The RACB says they will conduct a lottery to randomly assign placement on a waiting list.

Families will be selected from the waitlist in accordance of HUD requirements and local preferences according to RACB. 

People who qualify for housing vouchers will have an equal chance in the lottery.

The RACB will be accepting applications through 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2018.
