A ten-year employee at a restaurant in North Collins is charged with stealing over $1000 in cash from the establishment.
Erie County Sheriff's Office says David Wagner, 39 of North Collins, was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony burglary, grand larceny and criminal mischief for the overnight theft from Piz-A-Talia.
Deputies reviewed security footage and saw an individual take cash and leave the area. Deputies and the restaurant owner were able to identify the suspect and found Wagner at his home.
Officials say Wagner was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment on Thursday.
