Parents, students and educators gathered at MLK Park Monday to send another demonstration to remove Carl Paladino from the school board.
Members of the community are using Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as their inspiration to stand in opposition of Paladino and his comments in Artvoice last month.
On the event's Facebook page, People of Buffalo United Against Paladino! quoted Dr. King: "There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor popular, but must take it because conscience tells him it is right."
Statements were made by several government officials, including Senator Tim Kennedy and County Executive Mark Poloncarz, and prayers were said by local church officials.
