An eight month-old baby died from injuries she suffered after falling from a changing table on Thanksgiving in Cheektowaga, according to police.
Rescuers responded to a call for an unresponsive baby girl at an address on Beach Road about 2:15 p.m. Thursday.
She fell during a diaper change, investigators said.
The child was taken to Sisters of Charity Hospital, St. Joseph Campus and later transferred to Oishei Children's Hospital, where she died over the weekend.
Police are investigating.
