UB stays perfect, beats Syracuse 71-59

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WKBW) — Eleven straight wins and counting.

The 14th ranked UB men's basketball team improved to 11-0 on the season, beating Syracuse 71-59 Tuesday night. It was UB's first win against Syracuse since January of 1963.

The Bulls trailed 36-32 at halftime but took their first lead of the game with 9:32 left on the clock after a Jeremy Harris 3-pointer.

Senior CJ Massinburg led the Bulls with 25 points and in the process, moved into fifth place on UB's all-time scoring list. Jeremy Harris added 18 points while Nick Perkins had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

The Bulls have another tough game on Friday, December 21st when they travel to Marquette. The Golden Eagles are currently ranked 20th in the country.
