An Eden man has been arraigned and charged in State Supreme Court for the death of his mother.
The Erie County District Attorney says that 49-year-old Wayne Kozak has been charged with second degree murder.
Prosecutors say 79-year-old Mary Kozak was found shot to death at her home on East Eden Road on April 20.
Wayne Kozak was found several hours later at a motel in Erie, Pennsylvania and was taken into custody, according to prosecutors.
Kozak pleaded not guilty and was taken to jail without bail.
