Audrey L. Goerss, a 75-year-old Machias native, is scheduled to appear in the City of Olean Court on August 1 at 9 a.m.
Goerss failed to report income she received from sales on eBay. As a result, she fradulently obtained $5,075 in food stamps.
Goerss was arrested for welfare fraud in the third degree, grand larceny in the third degree, and two counts of offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree.
The suspect turned herself in at the City of Olean Court.
