East Aurora stores evacuated as roof beams buckle

Half of the stores in East Aurora's Oakwood Square have been evacuated due to concerns over one of the building's roofs.

East Aurora Police say the roof support beams for the building, that houses Larwood's Pharmacy and several other businesses, show signs of buckling.

Five stores have been evacuated while authorities and structural engineers evaluate the building. The roof appears to be leaking as well due to the rapid melting of the past week's snow fall.
