Willow Road Drive in Amherst is closed between Chestnut Ridge Drive and the Niagara Falls Boulevard because of downed power lines.
NITTEC tells 7 Eyewitness News a dump truck snapped power lines on Willow Ridge Drive Tuesday. A utility pole has also been knocked over. It's unclear how this happened.
The road will be closed until 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Power has been restored to most of the homes in the area.
