A two car crash in Amherst Saturday night sent three people to the hospital.
According to the Amherst Police Department, the cars crashed in the intersection of Transit Road and Casey Road around 9:30 p.m.
The driver that caused the accident, C.M. Kacalski, 47,was charged with DWI, according to police.
Officials say Kacalski's passenger, Michael Howland, 46, was taken to Erie County Medical Center with cuts on his head.
Police say the driver of the other car, Rachel Parks, 17, was also taken to ECMC with hip pain. Her passenger, John Striegel, 17, was taken to ECMC with a head injury and a fractured pelvis, according to officials.
This is an ongoing investigation. Amherst Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call 689-1322.
