Drug raids in the City of Buffalo and the Town of Amherst led to the arrests of four people and the confiscation of money and drugs.
The Erie County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit, assisted by the Buffalo Police and the Amherst narcotics units executed search warrants on Tyler Street in the City of Buffalo and Sweethome Road in the Town of Amherst.
Several hundred pills of methamphetamine and approximately two ounces of ketamine were found at the Tyler Street residence where three people were arrested. Sheriff's detectives arrested Kevin Shuie, 22 of Binghamton; Lei Ming, 24 of Amherst; and Donald Cheng, 24 of New York City.
The defendants were charged with criminal possession of methamphetamine, two counts of criminal possession of a stimulant, criminal possession with intent to sell. All of which are felony charges.
The raid on Sweethome Road led to the arrest of Brian Wong, 23 of Amherst. He was charged with a felony count of criminal possession of marijuana. Twenty-five pounds of marijuana were discovered in vehicles associated with the defendants.
Brian Wong and Lei Meng are being held at the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Kevin Shiue and Donald Cheng are held at the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $15,000 bail.
