The long Summer drought has forced the Town of Aurora to issue a temporary open burning ban, beginning immediately and until further notice.
Officials say the dry conditions of the area combined with open burning, such as bonfires, could lead to out of control fires.
The ban will remain until weather conditions allow it to be lifted.
