Driving without headlights leads to robbery arrest

Police in Lockport pulled over 31-year old David G. Dexter for driving with no head-lights.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered Dexter was actually a suspect in a robbery at the Tim Horton's on Robinson Road in the Town of Lockport.

He was immediately taken into custody.

Police also found Dexter had a crack cocaine pipe in his position at the time of arrest.

He is charged with Robbery 3rd degree (D Felony), Criminal Possession of a controlled substance 7th degree (A Misdemeanor) and multiple traffic tickets.

Dexter was arraigned at the Town of Lockport Court.
