A 17-year-old North Tonawanda man is accused of driving drunk, hitting a building, and then running away from the scene.
It happened Friday night around 11. Deputies say Nicholas Kumro hit a building on South Main Street in Elba and then fled the scene on foot. He was caught a short time later.
Kumro was allegedly in possession of drugs and alcohol and deputies say several open alcohol containers were found in his vehicle at the accident scene.
Kumro, who only has a learner's permit, was released on appearance tickets to appear in Elba Town Court later this month.
