A driver who lost control of his vehicle while reportedly going too fast ended up in a golf course pond.
It happened Friday morning around 9am at the Rosebrook Golf Course in Silver Creek. Deputies say 64-year-old Leland Lamoreaux of Dunkirk lost control on Beebe Road while speeding. His vehicle slid across a lawn and right into a pond.
Lamoreaux was able to get out of the vehicle before the fire department arrived. He was taken to LakeShore Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was removed from the pond.
There is no word on whether Lamoreaux will face charges.
